Smile Mechanic Needed: Southern California

My '72 GMC is experiencing a strange "cough" and my usual mechanic is unfamiliar with it, so I'm looking for someone who's familiar with working on them. I live in Valencia, CA, but would be willing to go to Pasadena, San Fernando Valley or anywhere in a 50-mile radius. Anybody know just the guy?

BTW, the problem began after the usual mechanic switched out my alternate fuel tank switch and pumped old gas out the second and third gas tanks. It may be a coincidence.

Thanks ahead of time.
