Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

Well this weekend we got front and rear bumpers mounted, recessed the rear in just a little to help clean it up. I'll have to get some bumper pics uploaded. Tomorrow if my rack and pinion shows up we'll be able to bolt it in and take it out of the garage for the first time under it's own power, I CAN'T WAIT! the wait has been driving me crazy

Did you get the hood struts figured out? If you did which application worked?

If not the ones for a 91-92 Z/28 could be a good fit lift rate wise. The hoods are close to the same weight as our truck hoods in those years with the extra weight of the blister louver design they had. The earlier model years had lighter hoods if the 91-92 are too much. There was also a fiberglass hood on some 82-84 Z/28's as well with an even lighter rate if you need even less rate.
