Well, it has been a good ten years, but I think its time to move on to another project. Going to ask 13K for her, would like to see 12K. Want to buy an early 70's Corvette. Yes, I know its not a truck, but at least its a Chevrolet. Do you think I will get it out of her?

it's a nice looking truck, going to some major car shows you should be able to get close to your asking price but online it's dougtfull

Thanks, but I am not going to sell it online,(a good thought though), I will do it the old fashoned way with a for sale sign in the rear window.
It might take some time, but it costs nothing sitting in my garage, maybe someone will take the bait.

If the right person comes along anything is possible, but not likely. With the economy the way it is, it is truely a buyers market right now. You could have gotten more for it 2 years ago. I have had mine for sale, for less than that for a while with no luck. I put it on Ebay and it only went to 7K. The reason you can't sell anything for a good price is there are too many deals out there right now. Case in point: a friend of mine just sold a 2001 Harley Wideglide for 12K because he had to have the money. I would wait till tax return time before I even wasted any money even listing it.

I would put it in a truck trader and pay for the big ad. Try the run till sold option too.

That's a good looking truck, don't settle for less.

what they said, I'd try the trader and car shows, you'll get more out of it. on-line sucks because people have to have it shipped or fly out and drive it all the way back.

I put my 3/4 LONGBED on ebay just get an idea of what it might be worth on-line and it only went up to $8500 and that was before I hot rodded the engine.

Just my opinoin here but I think the whole dropped shortbed thing is beginning to enter overkill and the clean long beds are starting to get attention so 10-12K for your truck seems right, just my opinion.
