Steering column question 63 c10

I am putting my steering wheel and horn assembly back together and wondered if I have all the parts or am I missing something. Mainly does the 63 have a spring underneath the steering wheel that sets in the top bearing and touches the turn signal canceler mounted on the back of the steering wheel. I have seen some manual pictures that show a spring but don't recall one being removed and there wasn't one in the parts can from disassembly. Secondly if it takes the spring where can one be found. Thanks
