ECE rear shock help! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Im trying to install my lower shock mount kit, and after looking at several pics from members install, I believe the shock I received from ECE in my pic goes in this particular direction. With the writing on the bottom side and the upper larger sleave mounting up top The problem is the lower shock stud mount. If you look at the stud in that ECE provides it wont fit in the lower shock hole. It will however fit the upper shock. Unless I have the shocks reversed how is this stud supposed to fit? Is the shock up side down?
