2000 Silverado slow window?
Hi - my drivers side power window goes up very slow. it seems worse in cold weather. if the truck is not running, the window wont close more than half way and it comes to a stop. is this a lubrication problem, or a electric motor problem? its always been like this since I bought the truck 4 years ago..just seems to be worse with the cold weather

Re: 2000 Silverado slow window?
my 99 does the same thing, I just pull it up and help it past a certain point and it picks up speed after the half way mark..
to answer your question I would guess it to be the "regulator" or in other words the electric motor. iv replaced several.. itll take you a little while your first time but its pretty straight forward.
