Need a measurement

Hey guys,

I need some help. If anyone has a shortbed 55-59 step lying around could you measure the length at the top of the flange that bolts to the bedside for me? I bought a box that was a cut-down longbox and I think the step was cut too short. I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks

Re: Need a measurement

Total width at the top flange is 15" , from the top front to where the step meets the fender its 13 1/2 " on my 58 short step side. So looks like yours were cut 3" short.
1955-66 steps should all be the same . If the bed is all apart might be best to put it together to see what else is off. Let me know if you need any other measurements.
