1961 chevy apache 4x4

i have been on this site for a while and love it! i have tons of projects(too many) so i thought i would share one of them. this is a 1961 chevy apache 4x4 c-20 it is original cali truck with factory ac and power steering and small block, ow big back window too, it also has the factory stainless (2 years only)
that goes down the sides. here a couple of pictures of the truck when it was on the trailer after i picked it up.

So this truck has factory power steering on a 4x4?.

plans are to retain stock looking truck but with some modern touches suck as motor and trans and front and rear axles. ow and i made a mistake i put power steering and it had power assist.

here are some pictures of the frame almost put back together, frame was sandblasted ands powder coate silver vien. front axle is from a 1972 blazer with cross drilled slotted rotors. the back axle is a 12 bolt with posi. the transfer case is a np205 rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. gas tank is a cpp 20 gal under the bed.

Wow!! I hope you make this project your first priority over all your other projects. The frame and axles look great. I can't wait to see this when completed.

This looks like a nice project and it should be sharp when done. Why are you putting lift blocks on the front when it is at best a sketchy setup? you are obviously putting quite a bit of time and money into this truck why would you cheap out and risk hurting your investment when the block spits out?

the blocks are only to test the hieght. i wanted to get the truck level and the front sits lower than the back. they don't make springs for this truck i have to have them made and with the 468/700r np205 i din't know how much it was going to squatt. now that the motor is in and the font sheet metal i can get springs.
