Front Brake Plumbing.. Post up ideas and pics

Looking for help / suggestions in plumbing front brakes. I have a 54 Chev with a TCI Mustang II front end, and a 79 Trans Am disc brake rear on a 4 link coil over suspension. I'm running a fuel injected 355 ( Holley Stealth ram), and need to rely on the ability to slow down. I'd like to use through frame fittings on the front brakes. I'm also wondering about routing options to the passenger side. If anyone has pictures of their pluming I would really appreciate it.

for more ideas, you might go to Barnes and noble, and look in transportation section, and there will be a book on brakes. the section on hot rods is small in the book, but has a few nice pics.

i'd recommend a straight line tube kit from inline tube or any other vendor.
straight line tube runs better and looks better on the frame compared to coil stock imo
supplement it with some short straight pieces for ease of install and minimal flaring
ss lines require a good flare tool, steel lines you can get away with almost any double flare tool

Another question. There are 2 different options for flares for the fittings. 45° or AN 37°. Im leaning towards the 37° because they arent a double flare.

37 are for AN fitting only... 45 is the standard for steel line.

well i guess i should read first. AN flares on cars are for garage and trailer queens.... 45° it is..

Here are photos of mine front and rear, pretty simple. I used preflared lines with fittings from NAPA and braided lines from Russell. Only had to flare about 4 ends.

I looks like it would almost be easier to piece the parts together i need. Thanks for the pics guys, keep them coming. I'll post up mine when i get done. Its hard to work on when its 1600 miles away. i only get to work on it about every three weeks or so. so i do lots of planning for just a little work.

i used a similar kit from inline tube
straight line ss kit w/ double flare
supplemented with a few short lines from local auto parts store

I don't deal with In-Line Tube. Screw me once, shame on you... I deal with The Right Stuff, Columbus, Ohio. They even told me the length of their largest shipping box and cut my stainless lines to that length. No custom charge. They just charged me the normal per-foot price.
