Re: rubber mats

I don't remember afixing to the front corners (by the firewall?).
Little metal studs? Found a picture of one from member bobs409. Top left corner here

Re: rubber mats

The first picture below, shows the original floor covering in my 70 C-10 which only came back as far as the seat like special-k said. Even though I removed that floor covering seventeen years ago, I remember that there was a thick felt paper type of material under the seat itself ( as can be seen in the picture ) leaving only about three inches of blue painted floor in between the two pieces. They both just about disintegrated when I took them out !!!

The second picture below, shows the floor covering from a 72 that was said to have 79,000 original miles.

Re: rubber mats

I'd like to know more about the 'full floor covering' because that is what I want for my cab. Black is fine, but I am having trouble finding a source for rubber, not vinyl. Thanks guys

Hartrod, is the vinyl quite a bit different than the rubber.? I have the Brother's rubber "floor covering" but it does not cover under the seat. I'd like something that does.

I might try this one you used in your '68 and, if I don't like it, I'll just use it under the seat and use my Brother's rubber mat for the front.

It's shinier than the rubber one, but I really like it.

Thanks. That's the answer for me then. I want to cover up the silver sound deadener under the seat.

then you could get optional mats for either.

Here is the floor covering that came in my 68. It looks like simulated carpet.

The factory floor covering for a Suburban is two piece and completely covers completely under the front and rear seat. Do they reproduce the floor covering for the Suburban?
