Painting parts after parts cleaner bath ?

I was wondering what to use to wipe down my parts for paint after using my parts cleaner. They are just small parts like bumper brackets etc. Most will be painted with oil based rust paint. There was too much info online with no definite answer.

I use wax and grease remover on everything I paint. I think different companies make it. I'm most familiar with the PPG brand. DX330 was what I last used. I just bought some new stuff and can't remember if it was the same number or not

Ya I know what you mean. I just keep it simple. I've used alcohol on plastic parts, like bumpers. Because if you use wax and grease on those parts it can wick into them and stay. Which can have bad results when painting. That was a long time ago since then. But for everything else wax and grease remover is my go to.
