Newbie help with a 71 C20 2wd

looking to pick up a 71 350ci auto like stated.need some info before I decided to get it. I've work on some c10 and a k20 of this body style. But never a suburban. I need some FAQ. I can't find what I'm searching online. I'm assuming since its a C20 it's an 8lugs? I believe it has a Dana 60 rear end? Is this a full floater? And a trailing arm and coils like the c10?..I would like to switch to 5 on 4 3/4 for wheel fitment in the future. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Newbie help with a 71 C20 2wd

Welcome!

The Suburban is virtually the same truck as the PU, just longer and has a plywood bed.

C20 or K20 all were 8 luggers
GMC's typically ran the Dana 60, most of the time they were Eaton H052.
Both the D-60 and Eaton's are full floater.

I don't know about the other questions, since I only play with K20's with leafs.
Others will chime in eventually on those questions.
