vent window noise

My truck has all new rubbers in the vent windows but I still have wind noise I used masking tape to find out where the noise came from It is from the rubber gskt to the door frame. Do i have to remove the whole assy and seal behind there or is there an easier fix.
Help

Re: vent window noise

Agree. They were noisy when new, so even with new parts that are to the nominal design specification you will probably still get wind noise.

Yep something about getting older that makes you snap, crackle, pop and break a little wind. I just enjoy the ride and smile...ed...

Re: vent window noise

I just crack open my driver vent window and the whistle goes away. Even opening the floor vent quiets it down.

Re: vent window noise

Are you talking about the frame to door contact area? That's easy enough to fix with a strip of thin rubber, or foam.
