Rear Cab support/mount replacement

Was wondering if anybody had any tips/ tricks for remove the rear cab mounts, the center of my rear support is really solid so I'll only be replacing the supports on the sides, however I Just finished removing my front supports and that was a royal PITA ! I do have to replace the cab corners as well, and am doing the outer floor extensions. Pics from people who have done it would be awesome ! I've posted some pics of my progress up front. Just waiting on my weld through primer to put the panels back in !

there is no magic trick ,just take your time don't rush it ,But I will say I would have braced the cab before even moving it off the frame .

It's a donor cab from Tennessee, I still have my junk cab on my frame in a different garage. I've read people have braced it and people who haven't, seems it's a good precaution but many don't and are fine

Re: Rear Cab support/mount replacement

People move cabs off of the frames without bracing them all the time. Cab supports are a PITA no matter how you do them.

Glad mine are still in great shape so I only have to do inner and outer rockers and part of the floor and the kick panels.

I've got my driver side cut down about as far as yours with no braces. I just left the doors on so I could monitor the gaps and I've had minimal movement. Mine is still sitting on the frame however but with the front bolts removed. I already did the passenger side the same way and everything is fine. It's got the outer rockers back on and everything.
