Re: Ecoboost swap how hard would it be?

my little brother posted a wanted ad on one of the facebook exchange sites wanting a complete ls motor and had a multitude of offers.

picked up a 5.3/with trans and wiring harness, computer all accessories hoses belts etc for 800$ with 80k miles.

slapped it in the 01 he picked up and runs great.

he had 6.0 offers as well around 1000 with trans

junkyards around here were wanting 1800 for just the 6.0 and harness with accessories. PSSSHHHH crazy

Re: Ecoboost swap how hard would it be?

I am running a T56 from a Camaro, I have a 4l80 that I will eventually swap and use this transmission in my Camaro.
I did this swap about 10 years ago and started with a 4l60, over the years the power came up and that transmission needed swapped.
