68 K10 Panel on CL

not so common! rough, but fairly decent price for something you don't see every day. Assuming the side windows are added. Enjoy (not mine):

Re: 68 K10 Panel on CL

shame those windows were cut into it.
would be a cool ride.

why would the rear seats be faceing rearward? unless they swivel.

there is a 68 sitting behind a barn near by i cant tell if its a panel or burb but definitly a K its too hard to see to get picks. been meaning to stop one day to ask about it.

If you could get the title sorted out its worth 3500 in my book, that would be a really cool truck all finished up.

i believe they only built 40 something 68 K10 panels, i had a chance to buy one several years ago out of a bay area wrecking yard. i couldn't justify spending the $$$ at the time so i told Bill at vintage chevy truck about it and he bought it, i think he still has it.

I believe those are owner added. But who knows, maybe he was a C2 cod pilot in the navy (passengers sit backwards).

Thanks for the move mods, I didn't think of the burb board with panels for some reason.

Re: 68 K10 Panel on CL

GMC Paul's bought one several years ago. Not sure what happened to it after that. That's about the only other 4x4 panel I've seen on this site.

Re: 68 K10 Panel on CL

I like it.
Pluses: Cop Spot, K/10, '68, nice wood deck, straight body, cool JC Whitney van windows to clear up panel truck blind spots, WC Jr Mirrors...
Minuses: Rust, No title, high price for non-runner, distance from Tucson to Colo Sprgs. Lack of need for yet another Project.
I think those buckets are what a PO used for Dr and Pass seats, but now removed near back doors for future recovering.

I believe the seats in the back are later Van seats. I have a pair just like them...

Thins move kinda slow over here in the panel area? This is the 3rd post on this truck. I posted the CL link over a month ago.

That happens when things don't sell on CL...... Jocko originally posted it on the pickup forum and it got moved over here. Not a biggie.

Re: 68 K10 Panel on CL

Looks like it was red, if not white originally. The "Anniversary Gold" is probably the fawn interior they see. sounds like the seller knows a bit about the trucks.
