Patina Truck Uphostery
I'm looking to keep my '70 long bed in it's original paint and farm rash.
Curious what you guys are doing for seat upholstery in these original paint trucks. Hate to have the interior be "too nice".

Here is what I'm planing for mine. Mexican/Indian Blankets. Haven't decided if I'm just going to tuck them in over the original seats or figure out a way to attach them.

Can't go wrong with the mexican blanket look for a patina truck, though I'll admit personally I don't think having a nice looking stock style seat will take away from the look depending on how worn the rest of the interior is.

Im going to use Mexican blankets in my 74 stepper hopefully soon ,have had the blankets for a couple of years .Im going to wrap them over whats left of the original seat covers and hog ring them .

A low-mile truck can have real patina and a decent interior. Could do a roll & pleat job and the vibe would be an owner did that along the way when the seat wore out, if you aren't going original. That's what I did before reproductions were made in the '80s
I still have the saddle Cheyenne seat cover I replaced in my Custom Camper in '90. It's been stashed longer than worn. Just had a little wear on driver side and material is just so much better than today, I couldn't see tossing (and that is what my stitch suggested). This was when reproduction seat covers first came out. I also have a brown Saddleman horse blanket seat cover from when they fiirst came out, before they cheapened them. It had brown naugahyde trim in center and edges of gun scabbord. Also 2pc, not one which doesn't like to stay tucked. I have a long bed parchment snap-on tonneau cover, too, for a truck one day. It would be on my '72 but it has cool cargo hooks in the way

a new (or like new) era correct interior compliments a patina exterior very well.
