Switch maybe?
After a long trip on the road, the truck sat for two days. I was heading to work when I got in and turn the key. Nothing. Akk. All indicators and everything worked fine but not go. After 2 days of schematic checking I came across the fact that when the steering column was tilted, it would fire. When it was in the full position, it wont. Anyone have anything similar happen to them with a tilt?

Just talked to the guy I bought it from 2 years ago. Apparantly, this has been seen before. Only takes place when the tilt is fully extended. I went 2 years before I noticed it, I'll go another 2.

Regarding the NSS, I was under the impression from what I read from another boardmember on a similar thread saying something like if your reverse lights come on when you have it in reverse then it is fine. Is this the case?

Pretty much, onless the contacts are messed up.
You still running the original dash mounted ignition switch, or do you have a later model column with the ignition switch on it? |

Original. I'm going to make it a weekend project to figure this out. Other than that, it ran fine today.
