No Ogre, I do not think so; however, if the owner wants to - I certainly will drive to get them looking as nice as they can be made to look.

Re: '52 Chevy Panel: Project "Orange Crate"

So everyone,

There has not been tremendous progress made over the last couple Thursdays. I had some issues removing the rigged up steering column, looked at a few vehicles for the chassis swap (with no luck), and got the top half of the engine completely disassembled.

Now, the harmonic balancer is being incredibly stubborn.

I started in on the lower internals as well.

I found out what was chiefly responsible for the engine being seized. MUD DAUBER nests. I could not believe it - bahaha. Picture below.

More updates as they come!

Wow, that is a first I've ever seen. They get in everywhere...

It was getting very interesting. What ever happened? Did you finish it? Like it was said earlier, there are not many builds of those years' panels. If you did not complete it, do you have any more pics to post to give an idea of what you accomplished?

Don't worry, life has its way to delay our dreams sometimes. I had to sell my 1931 Chrysler project car aome 12 years ago and never had a chance to buy another project since. You'll just have some more time to think the détails before you get back to that panel. I'll keep following.

Best regards from the Québec "frog" that I am.
