Re: 41-46 chevy radiators??
I used a 65 mustang V8 radiator, it was super small and I was able to place it where I wanted (I used tin to close off the larger opening) to clear the fan on my 4.3, but I had to put a 20psi cap on it and run a filler from a durango on the upper hose so that I could clear any bubbles. I also used it because it has a trans cooler in it.
I DO remember that the 66-67 V8 mustang rad was a better fit, it would have gone right in the original core support, it was a little smaller than the 19x22 speedway rad that is popular. both were around 125 bucks. word to the wise if you use one, put a piece of cardboard front and back over the fins, they arent like a modern rad fins they get bent VERY easy.
