Van Tilt column question

So a long while back i picked up an automatic Van tilt column i was initially going to use for parts for a truck tilt i had that was damaged... but i now have a new project that the van tilt will work in perfectly... anyway... i dug it out knowing i had to move the neutral safety switch and wanted to clean it up and paint it before installing it... But heres the thing... no neutral safety switch at all... positive its a auto column as i had to pull from the van it was in... it was hooked up and working... did some versions not have neutral safety switch?
This column also had the cruise control turn signal lever...
Thoughts?

Re: Van Tilt column question

That is correct, some of the earlier vans (74-76) had the switch mounted directly on the transmission instead of on the column.
