Re: Looking to get an ls motor--- need opinions
I picked up a 6.0 with a 4l80e out of an 06 2500hd that rolled for $1500 with 150k on it because I wanted to hear it run and drive I also plan on cutting the harness down myself and taking the front seats and parting out the rest of the drivetrain I don't use to recoup some funds. I'm going single turbo so I wanted the 4l80 off the get go to handle more power so that drove my decision for a 6.0. The great thing about the LS series of engines is that so many parts are interchangeable that you can really take any engine and get your desired outcome without emptying your wallet.
