shifter cable

anyone have a sifter cable replacement for the ls swap? running a 460E and need a cable the correct length for my column shifter. I know I will have to modify somewhat but need to start with the correct length. Been looking on ebay but no one seems to give the length. The plan is not to use any of the factory linkage. Just one long cable. Looks like it needs to be 80 inches long Thanks

when I was making c-5 covette rear brake kits, I wound up buying stock 2000's silverado iirc parking brake cables, and sent them to
http://www.controlcables.com/
to have them shortened and put a new end on the generic side.

could be a quick easy solution and it was about as much as the postage to get it there and back. could contact them and see if they have what it takes to build a brand new cable that has proper ends on it so you dont even have to start modifying anything.
