My guess is that they are not for the framed glass. You won't be happy with the framed glass in the felts and such that you have now. On my friend's truck, areas of the weatherstripping looked messed up and maybe slightly torn from the frames.
At least you had not tried to install them yet. I imagine that would have been extremely frustrating
