how long does my steedo cable have to be?

how long does my speedo cable need to be? the tranny is a th400 incase that makes a difference, i think someone said around 60 inches...?!?!?

I believe the 4x4's are 83 inches and the 2 wd are 63 inches. A lot depends on how you route the cable.
