Re: '71 LS/T56/Ridetech build with cost

New build:

Pull the original 350 and th350. Rebuild both to factory specs to include paint and stickers, put them on a pallet, seal them up along with all the factory A/C components.

Pull everything off the frame, strip it, seal it, coat it. rebuild both axles and transfer case, new leafs, shocks body bushings etc.

Toss in an LS3/4L80 holley efi with vintage air and drive the ever living **** out of it. The way it's meant to be used.

I'll save the new box and doors for it till down the road when it will get full body work.


I spent a lot of time looking at 4bt and cummins diesel swaps only to circle back to my keep it simple stupid principle. LS/4L A/C and drive.
