can anyone identify this type of carrier bearing?
how do i remove it?

Those are the 2 different kinds that were available. I use the ones that inland empire driveline service sells on mine. They are made out of aluminum and way way stronger. They are also about $120, but I am not willing to pay $40 for a regular one every 6 months.

smokekiki, yes I had to machine the top portion so it would fit up inside the bracket. But I have been told that they fixed this, I'll let you know in a couple of weeks. Got a new one for the Burb, it is going in when I get a chance to replace the tranny.
