Hot August Nights - Some pics
That C10 is SWEET. His wife must have seen I blew a cork and wanted a picture, so he stopped around the corner. I'd have liked to see more but....
The Cheyenne is super nice, clean as a whistle, fuel injected, though a lot of original parts. Too tall to see inside plus a long day, it was my last stop. It was parked way in the back. Real nice 67-72 don't show their heads to me Hot August Nights, both are a first, really nice. Doesn't seem to matter, generally they draw a crowd, they're popular. GM ruled the day by far, only saw one Mopar I liked, 71 GTX 440. Then again, for all I know the roadster is Dodge I liked it because the body and paint are supreme. My favorite is sitting on the trailer, I'd trailer that too, oh my.

The blue and Hugger Camaro’s are both looking awesome, I’m a bit Camaro obsessed. Ohh and that K10 is looking great too! Again I’m a bit obsessed. Then there’s the nomad, impala and trans am. Awesome stuff!

Re: Hot August Nights - Some pics
Great pics, but I thought I saw a thread that Hot August Nights was cancelled last minute. Must have been a different get together.

I thought it was, because when I triggered Google it listed a load of the bad news, one year old. Livestock events is generally full inside, decent stuff, this year a small fraction of that, but the casinos I visited were full, same with Virginia Street.

Re: Hot August Nights - Some pics
I'll take that Trans Am all day long and Sunday.
It's funny. Back in the day I paid little to no attention to them. My girlfriend had one. I guess that's why I dismissed them. Now it's a whole different story. I'd love to drive one again. In fact I'd like to see my girl again. But that ship sailed a long time ago.

Dang man! 69 has always been my favorite Camaro and that blue/white one is just awesome looking sitting there in all it's fineness. I never owned one however.

Re: Hot August Nights - Some pics
Should see it in person, that thing stood out among the crowd, it's where two clean Judges were sitting. It's in perfect order, shame the hood wasn't open.
Speak of hoods open, that Cheyenne was sitting by its lonesome, no other human nearby. Dude was probably in a tower someplace That truck really is remarkable, every detail under the hood clean, the body speaks for itself, though looks like he opted for a "straight" upper bed molding. If I had a $5 for every sport bumper that was installed wrong it have paid for my lunch. I checked the manual, and they're not supposed to dent the tail light bezels. I learned from an expert on these that a clean looking "72 Super" and such had mirrors attached to the headboard, and the 71s were on the windshields
