Leaf spring bumpers
Anyone have a source for the correct leaf spring bumpers for a K10? My truck is a 70 Suburban but I would think the pickups are the same. LMC lists a style that bolts in as being correct for a 4WD truck but my truck take the ones that have the solid rubber type that push into the rectangular hole in the bracket.

The pictures of the stops are what I need but in the post someone says they are for 2wd truck not 4wd. I'm confused. My 4wd uses this style not the ones that are bolted on. I guess I'll have to see if I saved the ones that were on my truck.

AFAIK only the later trucks used the bolt in bumps. The earlier 4x4's used the push in style. If your bump brackets are fastened to frame by rivets, they are factory.

Funny, I have been looking for rear axle bumpers for my leaf spring '67 2500. These are rectangular, pointed top, with an inverted 'T' on the bottom that pushes into a slot on the axle. According to the parts book, it's supposed to be the same bumper as on the coil spring trucks, part #3843849. These are reproduced and easy to find.

Yes, the rear ones are taller.
