Need Part Number Help

Need to replace the Fan Shroud on my 68 GMC 305V6 3/4 4x4 and am trying to cross the part number. My GMC parts book list GM3924932, this will fit a 305V6 68-69 2 WD (25,35) or 4 WD (15,25). The interesting thing is it also list a 69 2 WD with a 396. Did Chevy also use this Fan Shroud?
Thanks

Can you tell if Chevy ever used the part number 3924932. It is a lot easier to find Chevy shrouds than GMC. By the way, what does exc. mean?
Thanks

My info says no. Also the exc. means all 8 cyl. excluding (except) AC or 396 or V6 except 351. Make sense?
