Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here's my 68 .............. 5" drop springs in the rear . not sure about the front. I cut 2 coils off the springs. I have new 3" drop springs from CPP for the front , but haven't got them on yet. I think once I put the new springs up front , it will probably sit higher. Might have to go with new drop spindles to get it back down.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

I looked through this whole thread and all the drops that are the same look different from truck to truck. I'm having a hard time figuring what drop to go with.

How low are you wanting to go? To be honest if you.can afford it you should.bag it, that way you can adjust your ride height. I went with a 5.5/6 on my 86 Silverado and to be honest I dont like it its a rough ride, but the streets here are terrible. So I recently bought 4 link and bags, wish I would have went that way to start. Guess it all depends on what you.want and what you want to.spend, anyways there's some good info on here about both. What type truck you looking to lower?

I have a 1971 Blazer with a leaf spring rear set up. I would like to do a bag set up but I don't know what you need to do it. I really need some one I can pick there brain for more info. The air bags would be best because I have a very steep drive way but I haven't found any one to help me yet.

Would like to know more about this setup. It looks a little lower than a regular 4/6 drop. Does it help keep the lower control arms up off the ground some? I'm pretty sure I've seen the build thread for this truck but I can't remember the name of the thread.

What are the specs on the wheels and tires on this truck? Does this suspension setup clear up the problem of the lower control arms being so close to the ground? Also, is there a build thread on this truck?

Thanks.

IF I knew alot I would be more than happy to help, hell im still learning when it comes to bags, but I will be more than happy to help with what I know. I'm in tha process now of tear down for the suspension rebuild. What I did was troll the suspension threads and ask them guys questions, if they didn't know the answer they pointed me in the right way to figure it out, they were very helpful. Also Travis from pro performance was awesome he answered out every question I threw at him. I dont remember his member name but look him up he can answer about anything.

Seems like this roads issue is a problem everywhere, in Europe it is an issue and down here as well.
