Re: cragar 30 spoke fun!

After looking at your results, I wonder if I could just dip my whole truck in that stuff and it would come out looking near show quality ?

Those look fantastic. Definitely not something you see every day. Looks like there's something else to add to my list now...

Re: cragar 30 spoke fun!

if anyone is interested..i do have 2 loose 15x7's I haven't messed with yet...they're kinda rough..maybe something to throw on the frts if ya want or go skinny all the way around. If you think you may want them pm me. No spinners or washers, just loose wheels. I'll try to get some pics up a bit later, gonna be out of town til sunday.

Re: cragar 30 spoke fun!

Those turned out great, and look wicked on the truck. If I could suggest one thing, if you haven't done it already. Would be to apply some sort of rust inhibiting product on the rust spots, i.e.http://www.fluid-film.com/. Or at the very least, wax the crap out of them. Acids/brighteners etch the surface of whatever they're applied to, how aggressive depends on how strong a percentage you use. Which is why they can make aluminum look milky if too strong. So, over time if used repetitively, will make the rust spots deeper and wider. I learned this the hard way lol.

Re: cragar 30 spoke fun!

I know this is an old thread but I just love those wheels, I have a set of appliance wire wheels similar to true spokes but those starwires are hot!!! Good looking truck.
