You see him on ebay quite a bit as truckparts67-72. Thats also his ebay store.

From all the bad deals on here over the years, its better to just stay away. I actually bought something from him when he first started here over 5 years ago, but it wasn't a chrome part and it was ok.

That's him too?? Phew..I had him on my seller's list but never bought anything from him. I e-mailed him a question about a part and he never responded so I didn't buy it. Good thing I suppose.

Re: james blanton taking shots at one of the family

I knew it! I checked out the website after seeing it on CL but something about it, probably the lack of editing, just gave me a bad feeling.

If you're gonna spend the money to put up a website at least have somebody edit it for spelling and grammar....

Re: james blanton taking shots at one of the family

I never dealt with him myself. But I had a good friend on the Stovebolt that ended up losing about 3 grand. Sent him a beautiful grill from a late 30's truck. James managed to destroy the grill, plated it and shipped it back several months later. And for James that is good service.

personally i bought a tach cluster from him and before i purchased i asked if it worked on the six cylinder as well and he said yes. "Six, eight the tachs are the same. we were at a swap meet so i should have researched a little better before buying but i took his word since he was only selling 67-72 parts, i thought he knew his product.
well after finding out it would not work i tried to get ahold of him to see if i could just get a credit so i could buy some other things from him.
that didnt work he never returned email or phone calls
well i decided to sell the cluster only to have the purchaser return it because the cluster would not work, curcuitry issues.

He is still hitting Austin CL pretty hard. New members beware. It must be slim pickins in Dallas for him. He has 2 different numbers. Same guy.

I used to buy alot from Kennys Trucks when they came to Baytown Tx. They are one of the reasons we are in business. I watched them grow and it gave me the inspiration to do it to. I would reccomend them in a heartbeat. Here is their website.
