Wow is right! Nice repair on the rust. You score the patch on the parts section here? It looks like a perfect fit. That looks like a fun project.

I bought another Blazer for parts here locally because the bed floor was immaculate. Im getting ready to replace the whole entire rear floor section from the notch backwards before i install the new bedsides.

Re: Project Blaz-Air

A little bit closer to having a rust free tub!

New bed floor donar Blazer

Goodmark bedsides shortened

Just a little more trimming and fitting and I will be able to weld it up.

Cool. I am excited to see you moving along on this thread. The plans you've mentioned are going to be great and judging by the quality of your 52 this Blazer is going to be AMAZING!!!

Okay, I remember now, I went back and looked at the pics...WOW! That is the bad boy with the 6speed manual. Sorry, I have a ton of threads I like to watch that's why I forgot. I try to watch all the LS builds. Excuse my ignorance, but is the LS2 a pushrod engine or DOHcam design? That thing is what 400HP? Awesome!

Re: Project Blaz-Air

Its a pushrod setup. By the time we install the new cam and intake we should be close to 500hp

Wow! That is a bunch of ponies!
I was at a dealer the other day looking at a new SS camaro (wish I had $38K extra). Anyway, the salesman said he thought the 6.2 in there was a dual overhead cam. But the valve covers and heads looked just like my 6.0 in my 07. So, I think the vette is really the only gm dual cam v-8 ls engine? or what about northstar? BTW, the salesman at the lots nowadays are as dumb as a rock.
