Re: Whats up with Logan...

Logan and his new toolbox Christmas morning...I left it unwrapped and I told him it was his and he said, are you kidding me?!?! I thought it was for you...lol...Poor guy could hardly lift it...
And also thanks to one of you guys for adding to his fuel for the paint job road trip fund...That was very kind of you and I'm sorry I don't remember your name since I'm at work right now....but thank you...

Re: Whats up with Logan...

Yes great people...two guys, one on here and I think the other from another forum sent him some cash...(he will be emailing a thank you soon) One for gas and the other for parts...How cool...A friend of ours we used to go to church with in Michigan sent Logan $100 for Christmas but he had to pray about what to do with the money...Keep it all, spend part and keep the rest or spend it all on someone else...He just went shopping at Walmart...He bought $100 worth of supplies for our churches childrens group...Crayons, scissors, play doh, glue, paper and a bunch more stuff for 20 kids...Hes going to give t all to em Sunday...

Re: Whats up with Logan...

Hey guys, whats the best route for Logan to take to relocate his gas tank? We want to get rid of the tank behind the seat (he wants subs there...lol) and get a kit for the back...I want a full kit, the easier the better cause I want him to do most of the work...Cost is a big deal too but he has $175 saved up for the conversion...What are your thoughts?

Re: Whats up with Logan...

Hey guys...I wanted to share a picture I have of Logan...He was blessed by an old friend back home with a hundred dollar bill to do what he feels God tells him to do...Its not an easy task especially for a 13 year old boy...He went back and forth for a while and then he received a couple of letters from some hot rodders out there with a little cash in each for his truck...Long story short, he was reduced to tears...He told my wife, he said mom I'm not keeping a dime...He did however buy as much as he could for 20 kids, as per Pastor but ended up with $15 left over even after buying a tub to keep it all in...He says what do I do with the rest dad? I said Sunday after church lets go to Game Stop (he loves that place) and get you a game...So with a little help from dad he got what he calls a killer game...lol....Here he is packing the tub with all the goodies for the kids...Sunday our Pastor call Logan up front where he presented all the stuff to the kids...It was awesome....

And yes we meet in a Bowling Alley...Its awesome....

Re: Whats up with Logan...

$175- bah! In a LWB, 73-87 blazer tank, 70's-80's chev van tank, I used one out of a 91 jeep wrangler. Can be done and be tight and right for lots less than $175.

Good on ya, Logan! Now git back out in the shop!

Re: Whats up with Logan...

Did you ever find a gas tank?

I have a F*#d (Mustang/Falcon??) tank under the bed of my 64 that I won't be using. I think it's approx 16gal & a new-ish tank (meaning not a 60's OE tank). It would require a hole in the bed floor for a filler & would need the required sending unit wiring changes.

Logan and I are desperately trying to find time to work on his truck...The poor dude is whooped by time he gets home from school which is around 6pm 5 days a week. He decided to try playing tennis now too...He and I promise to get on it again as soon as possible...Well we promised each other...We did walk through a car show the other day...He is so funny, he loves EVERYTHING!!! He has so many ideas that it makes his head spin...

This thread is so Awesome. Way to show the world that good people with good hearts are out there. In a world where so much negativity is shown everyday it's good to see a story like this.

Wish I had something to send Logan.
