Post Camaro Z28 tach ??

i know that a '70-'81 camaro 7K tach will fit in place of our truck 5K tach. is wiring different???? looking to buy camaro 7K tach. with new motor, 5K tach just isn't high enough.

they have studs on the backside to connect wires to, same kind of studs as our gauges, but since you are replacing with another thats another issue, because usually people add a camaro tach when previously they had none, and all they have to do is run the tach wire and feed and lights wire off the fuse panel, the studs on the back of the maro tach and on the truck tach should be in same location, someone else will know this im sure. tach was an option in itself, also is found in RS models, etc etc

You mean to say that a tach out of a F-body will bolt right in there? Thats pretty cool!
