Does it fit

Trying to do something on a budget. I found a 66 c-10 and want to tow it home. Tow dolly from Uhaul can take a 72 inch wheel tread width. Truck has factory width wheel with 225/75/15 tires. Will it fit on the tow dolly, not worried about weight, no motor or trans.

Thanks

Don't know about the tow dolly. I towed a 76 Chevy C-10 with a UHaul car carrier from Des Moines,IA to Madison,WI without a problem but it was a load. I think next time I would try and load the truck on the trailer backwards so the engine was on the back of the trailer.

Thanks............a friend took pity on me and bought some left over parts. He wanted stock parts for a resto he was doing in his shop. So I went and bought a trailer, I do feel better now because what i wanted to tow was in OK. Thanks to the pity gods!

Now that you have a trailer you'll be amazed at all the stuff that follows you home!

LOL...........yes, I can see now all the trucks that were in somebody ele's fields!
Ksever...........if it was here in nc going west I could help you, I am leaving for OK Monday and coming back to NC load. A little pity goes a long way but ! that's a little to long. Now if I had the money and could find a real clean Suburban up there , we could talk.
