Small Back window to Large Back window conversion???

I currently have a 64 with a small back window and I want to
convert it over to a big back window.
How difficult is this conversion?
Is it as simple as cutting out the metal and putting the
larger glass window in?
Has anyone here done it recently?
How long did it take you and do you have pictures?

Thanks for the help!
Great website!

This has been discussed on here before. It can be done with enough money.

I don't know how hard it is to convert a cab but I have a big back window cab I would sell for $100. Its just a bare cab without doors, glass, gauges or anything. The floors are VERY solid but it would need the rockers replaced although they arent completely gone like some I have seen. I have no back glass but have seen them on Ebay from time to time. Let me know if you are interested and an email and I can send you plenty of pics. I am about 100 miles north of Dallas in Paris, TX.

I asked the question since the search feature isn't currently available.

Just curious if it was worth cutting up a small window cab over
swapping out a large window cab, that's all.

From the outside it looks like it would be easy. When one looks inside is where the problems begins. The inside wall of the cab of a big window cab and a small window cab are different. There was an link to a article where someone did the conversion. It would be expensive. If i wanted a big back window, i'd look for a different cab before i would attempt to convert.

You may want to go to paris and check out the cab.
