I'm really confused now, 69 CST factory options

I put a previous post aasking about if cargo lights on a 69 CST were factory or a dealer add on. Well, i saw a restoration manual someone had scanned and it listed that a 69 CST had a cargo light installed, that it was part of the cst package. Whats the deal????? All the parts books list cargo lights from 70 - 72, everybody said that these were installed by the dealer if you wanted in 67-69, but this GM book talks like they put it on in the assembly line, whats up??????

Yes, GM sold them on the trucks in 69. However, from the couple 69 CSTs I have seen, and the polls I have conducted on this and other boards, only the late 69 CST trucks came with them. So it is more common for a 69 CST to not have the light, even though it is actually part of the package.
