FS: 72 truck am/fm radio

I'm selling the radio I recently pulled from my 72 C20. This was not hooked up so I can't say it's in working condition. Comes complete with knobs and cups. Good condition other than AM not showing on slide. Price is $200 including shipping to continental US.

Pics available upon request. Please reply to thread.

Thanks.

Scott

That sounds like a great price. I think the slide is available from most vendors. BTW were you able to use those stainless lines? Chris

I'll work on getting some pics on the board as soon as I can.

Chris, the lines are still gathering dust like most of my other parts for my 68. I really have to send you payment on them. Drop me your paypal address and I'll get it off you. Thanks for your patience.

I`d be interested without pictures. They all look the same.Rather,I`d like to know it works to determine if I`ll pay $200.It`s real easy to do.So,put me in line if you`re willing to do that.

I am still very interested in the radio. I just got called to go to work so I will be gone a day or so(you never know with the RR's). I will still resize and post the pics when I get back, or maybe someone else can help you.In the mean time I was wondering if:
1 has it ever worked since you owned it?
2 does the dial roll when you switch it from AM-FM?
3 do the push buttons work ie change channels?
4 Lastly is this a factory truck radio, meaning is is listed on your option sticker?
Sorry for all the questions, its just that it's a big investment for a non proven radio. I wish there was a way to test it!
Thanks for your time, Jason.

Jason, no problem on the questions, I would rather you know as much as possible, just like I would when buying something. I emailed you the pics.

1 - the only thing I can tell you is the light came on when turned on. I know that doesn't say much because there was no speaker so I can't honestly say it works.
2 - yes the dial rolls between am and fm
3 - yes buttons all work, also you can change station settings by pulling them out and pushing them all the way in. Oh yea, tuner knob works fine as well.
4 - yes, the radio is listed on my 72 C20 glove box option sticker

No problem in waiting a few days, just let me know your decision when you can.

Scott

Scott,

I am going to go ahead and post the pics like I promised, Not that it will matter, because I will take the radio. I just got in and I have to go to sleep because I am fixin to get called out again.

If you want you can PM or email me your info and address and I will get the payment sent off. I have never done paypal or anything. Would a money order work? If not let me know and I will figure something out.

Thanks again, Jason
