Full coverage rubber/vinyl floor mat that fits ???

Looking for a full coverage rubber/vinyl floor mat to put in our 1970 C10. We prefer not to do carpet, but want a rubber type fuul coverage mat, not the half length like original. Does anyone make something that fits well ???

We have a full mat here made by ACC (auto custom carpet) and it is so darn stiff and is cut way too big, it will be a pain to install and a lot of trimming. Even then I am not sure it will lay down well.

I see another company ACS (auto carpet systems) makes a similar mat, but is that just another name for the same company or might that just happen to fit better ? I really don't need the heavy duty thick vinyl that they both carry, a thinner original style mat would be fine with me as long as it covers all the way back to the gas tank. How about a blazer or suburban mat (did they ever have all rubber ?)

Open for suggestions - any thoughts ? - Thanks.

Re: Full coverage rubber/vinyl floor mat that fits ???

We installed a 71-72 full rubber mat in my son's 70 K-10 (with high hump). The holes had to be cut for the floor mounted accelerator pedal studs but other than that it fits perfectly. The 71-72 mats have the "tails" on them so the floor is completely covered.

We got our mat from Classic Parts of America, but I am sure other vendors have them available.

I remember MTdave had issues with one he bought being more like a truck cover than a floor mat (refering to size). I just wish I could remember who it was from... and who sold him the propper sized one.

And do any come in colors? I'd love to have one in brown or saddle.

I got one from LMC and it fit really well. I can't complain about it at all.

Re: Full coverage rubber/vinyl floor mat that fits ???

1969c/10 was that that full coverage heavy duty mat, or more like original ? How was it packed ? Mine was folded about 4 times the long way then foled the other way to make a bundle about 16 inches square. That I think is half of the problem it has been folded forso long and so tight that I think has strecthed in spots and taken a permanent set in some of the creases. We tried a hairdyer to relax the folds but not much luck.

Feel free to hop in with any other thoughts.............

I used an 88-98 rubber mat in my 70, it fits perfect the only things I had to do were cut holes for the gas pedal studs and the dimmer. The mat covers the entire floor the only real difference is the seat belt holes in it.

Mine was folded a couple times and rolled up as well. I let it sit out unrolled for about a week and then just put it in. After some use the creases are pretty much gone.

black and blue, do you have a high hump? The 92 we have at work with the rubber mat has a huge hump.

...Kind of an afro engineered hump!! PO hacked one in there, I guess it would be a high hump cause it sits higher than the regular non bolt in floor pan.

Browns of Two Rivers, WI has a full vinyl mat in black only. Catalog states that it is molded to fit and is full coverage from the firewall to the back of the cab. They have either the low hump, PN A101 or the hight hump, PN A126.

Their telephone number is 1 800 558-7750 if interested.
