throttle cable adjust?
anybody know if stock style throttle cable has anyway to adjust up slack?i couldn't see a way.the bracket and carb aren't stock.the bracket is adjusted to its last point of no more.

If it's the factory throt cable and it has never been messed with you may be able to pull the cable in the cab at the top of the peddle arm towards you and there is a small swedged aluminum barrel at the end of it.
You would take up the slack necessary and duplicate that type of swedge barrel and that should do it. You may be able to obtain a swedge barrel from a speed shop or maybe a bicycle shop "brake cable" or even a fishing bait shop. |

Funny you'd mention that, as a bicycle brake cable is exactly what I'm using for a throttle cable. As a matter of fact it's a bicycle gear shifter cable that operates my choke too, lol

so take slack out of my throttle cable all i have ever done was bent the bracket work great and no mods needed. This on a stock bracket of course.

yeah,iv'e done similar fixes on old ford trucks before,taking a zip tie or two and using as a spacer to take up slack.i was thinking that those rubber molded ends might twist and release on the stock ones.but i don't think they do.
