Shorten driveline ?

i need a drivelne for a shortbed 77 2 wheel drive chevy. turbo 350. if i cant find a short driveline can i use one from a longbed and have it cut? my u joint failed because the shop didnt balance the shaft. now its wasted. how much would i expect to pay for a used shaft?.

yes you can get a long bed shortened. cost i really dont know

1965 shortbed fleet great granddads. Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it

big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in

and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one

You can purchase decent driveline anywhere from $30.00 to $60.00 depending on the salvage yard. The cost of shortening one, around here is about $100.00 and that included a new U-joint.
