Greetings from Hell's furnace

hey all. It's nice and hot in Phoenix, AZ this summer. Just joined today. I have an 86 burb C20 w/ 454. Not a great mechanic, I know just enough to get into trouble. I built a '68 Cougar in high school, that was 15 years ago and have tinkered with most of the vehicles I have had. I stay at home with my three kids and am back in school. Just retired from plumbing and am looking to get into nursing. My passion of late has been motorcycles, but am currently bikeless. I had a Vulcan Meanstreak running at 110 hp ( a decent out put for a 95" v-twin) until someone took a baseball bat to it and totaled it. No plans on getting another bike for a little while. Wife wants an augmentation first and I decided I couldn't complain too much about that. I have a few minor issues on my burb and was looking around here for some answers. Seems to be a lot of good info here so I decided to join. I am active on a few cycle forums and love it. Look forward to getting to know a bunch of you. Will post a few pics of my truck as soon as I get them resized.
