Post radiators widths, hmm

ok there are two widths of radiators not only in 67-72 but in 73-80, there is one thats wider, about 28 3/4 or so and a place ot move pass side lower retainer and upper retainers more to the right hand side of truck to use them, the 19" tall ones*
now what happens if I wanted to use a 28 3/4 wide one that i have and i moved the retainers over, what kind of lower hose issues would i run into, i assume this was used only in the BB trucks ?

hmmmm,..

Rads for the I6 engines used a shorter rad which used the inside mount. The V8 engines took a longer rad which used the outside mount. Rad hose will depend on engine size, motor mount location, and water pump type.
