Post Almost complete 4L60/350 conversion

I took a week off work and converted my 69 SWB from a 307/350 turbo to a 4L60/350. Everything is installed and tomorrow I will start and hopfully drive it. I bought everyting from GM Performance. Engine is the Goodwrench upgraded to 285 HP. I would have liked more HP but I need a motor that likes 87 octane. Tranny is rebuilt by Hydro-matic and sold by GM. It has all the upgrades. Carb is a new Edelbrok Q jet. I have to convert my throttle linkage over to the 71-72 cable type. I just picked up my shortened driveshaft. Anyone done this overdrive conversion? I may have some questions on the tranny set up tomorrow. Ron

When adjusting the TV cable, your best bet is to do it as the book says, then high tail it to a tranny shop that will set it with the oil pressure guages.
The TV controlls a whole lot more than just when to go into passing gear.

I was thinking of doing the 4L60E swap with my 327. Will it fit with the older engines, and did you have to get some sort of computer for the trans seeing as the E in 4L60E stands for electronic? Was that trans very $$$? I know it won't be cheap, but don't want to break the bank. Thanks,
