Cam for 350

I plan on installing an Edlebrock carb and intake on my 1970 C-10 witha 350. I would like to install a cam with just a little rough idle. Truck will just be used for regular driving. Does edlebrock make a mild cam like that? Thanks

Re: Cam for 350

Call Edlebrock. They have kits, use the cam from their kit.

Re: Cam for 350

The 'Performer" cam may be old school technology, but I think it will have the mild muscle car rumptity-rump your looking for. The Edelbrock 'RPM" cam is a lot more agressive sounding, but without the package to support the rpm's necessary to make the cam worthwhile,, it would be a poor choice.

In a 350 most any cam with 235-240° @ 0.050" will give a chopy idle, but without compression to support, it makes for poor low rpm torque and street maners.
