Question sm465 in a 68 panel ?

I have a 250 and an sm465 that I am putting in my 68 panel. It looks like I'm going to have to cut out the transmission tunnel. Has anyone done this, any tips, and where could I get one that fits?

Thanks!

I would grab a factory 4 speed high hump from a truck in the junk yard, and then trace it's pring on the floor, then measure in one inch from that line and cut the hole out. mark and drill the holes and bolt it in with some sealer to seal it up.
