You know the sound Im talking about....

Where you are sitting in the living room watching NFL network and you hear the brakes. Not just any cars brakes. The brakes of the UPS truck. For some reason they all make the noise and they are all distinct enough that you hop up to head to the door.
The parts you ordered have arrived and it is Christmas in August

Great sound when you're expecting something!

My little dog knows the sound from 2 blocks away. She hates any delivery person so I'm usually outside the door waiting when he drives up...

My fed ex and ups guys just leave on your porch while you're work no matter what it is. I have thought about saying I didn't get it but I haven't.

Nice delivery!

And I know the exact sound you are talking about... music to my ears, just not to my wallet.

Re: You know the sound Im talking about....

SKip White order,

I did not wan to put any money into the parts on this motor as I am wanting to rebuild a 383 for a daily driver. However I did not see a reason not to replace the Dizzy at a 42 dollar price tag.
Besides it will help it run a little better till the motor gets replaced.

This week I am hoping to get it all installed. Probably tuesday.
