well got caught up on bills so i started on a frame off on the 72 hugger...

not to be nosy, but do you really have a helicopter and tower crane in your back yard???...not to mention a loader?

pulled engine apart... its never been bored!.. wow stock everything.and installed 41/4" pipe for exhaust.. ..

well,spent the last 2-months collecting "nos" parts. finally found all the suspension,and steering parts. what a battle to get nos stuff. but i refuse to use after market parts.. i plan on handing this one down to my grandson some day.. now to start assembly... whewww...

I'm surprised you cut holes in the trailing arm crossmember for exhaust when you seem to be planning on a thorough resto? Not knocking, just curious, and I know it'll be beautiful when you're done.

thats the "only"! modification that i am doing. i felt the factory should have done it that way.... i really dont like the exhaust hanging down like factory had it....and thx for your comment! it should be purdy when done. the only problem is im finding nos parts are expensive... wow! .. dave

a little update... all suspension front/rear done. steering going in. engine rebuilt, back, and going in.. the engine was rebuilt with no oversizing.. standard bore!

R you guys talking about the Sterling that owns a bunch of land down by Manzanita. My families business is down there. I just got A 72 Sub in January. No progress yet though.
